Tissot Replacement Bands
Tissot, founded in 1853 by Charles-Félicien Tissot and his son, Charles-Émile Tissot in Le Locle, Switzerland. In 1858 Charles-Émile went to Russia and began to sell their savonnette pocket watches across the Russian Empire.
Tissot merged with the watch brand Omega in 1930 and the collaborated Tissot-Omega watches are still looked for by collectors today. Tissot’s first official timekeeping partnership was in 1938, they timed a series of Ski races in Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland. In 1983, Tissot became a member of the Swatch Group Ltd.
Tissot moving into the present is a repeatedly recognised brand. Tissot has been named the Offical Timekeeper and Partner of many disciplines; including, the NBA, FIBA and CBA; cycling with the Tour de France and the UCI World Cycling Championships; motorsports with MotoGPTM, the FIM World Superbike Championship and rugby with the RBS 6 Nations Championship, TOP14, the European Rugby Champions and Challenge Cups. It is also the Official Timekeeper of the World Championships of fencing and ice hockey and of the AFL.
