Founded in 1875, by Joseph Bulova in downtown Manhattan. Bulova has created a legacy of mastering the classic art of timekeeping, whilst embracing the future.
Bulova’s industry innovations included everything from pioneering standardised production of watches in 1912 to being the first to produce an advertisement broadcast on radio in 1926. Bulova then pioneered as the world's first television advertisement on July 1st, 1941, before a MLB game. Bulova even developed the first fully electronic watch with proprietary tuning-fork based technology through their inventor Max Hetzel, first selling them in October 1960.
Becoming a member of the Citizen Watch Co. in 2007, staying true to their core principles of craftsmanship, innovation and technology that has allowed them to create affordable luxury timepieces for almost 150 years.
