Waterman

Lewis Waterman created the first functional fountain pen in the early 1880s. After this, Waterman began working as a pen salesman for a company owned by inventor Frank Holland. After six weeks Holland abandoned his company allowing Waterman to step in and take over.
Waterman designed and fitted pens with a simplified feed. This 'Three Fissure Feed" was patented in In 1884 in New York. This was his first pen-related patent and the establishment of the Waterman Pen Company.
From 1901, Frank D. Waterman,  grew and expanded the Waterman Pen Company world wide. Waterman has introduced many innovations through its history, always maintaining their level of quality and reliability.
