Michael Kors’ was first brought onto the fashion scene when he released a line for Lothar’s in Manhattan. Customers were immediately drawn to his beautiful designs and by 1981 he had branched out and launched his own brand. By 1983, his talent was recognized with the First American Original Award from Dupont. Timepieces were introduced into Michael Kors in 2004 and have gained great popularity around the world due to the innovative designs of these watches.
