The fabric strap incorporate a traditional braiding technique from Japan called Seichu. Their rich texture and colour complexion are familiar in Japanese culture for their use in fabric designs, as seen in a traditional “obijime,” the decorative cord that holds a Kimono sash in its place.

This watch is based on the original model released in 1968 which was a groundbreaking model with 300m water resistance and a 10-beat automatic movement. While retaining the sharp and powerful design of the original model, it offers comfort and fits on the wrist by adopting a smaller case size of 42mm.

- Using a tape measure: measure around your wrist, tight enough it won't slip past your hand but not so tight that it digs into your skin.
- If you don't have a tape measure: use a piece of string or ribbon and place it around your wrist, tight enough it won't slip past your hand but not so tight that it digs into your skin. Then measure the piece of string/ribbon on a ruler.

After the Band has been shortened we shall return any spare links with the watch. We do not charge any extra for band adjustment, it is done with our pleasure.
